In Sanskrit, a sūtra is not just a word — it is a thread. The ancient teachers used it to describe a line of thought so precise, so distilled, that every word was load-bearing and nothing was wasted. The great texts of India were sutras: each one a crystallisation of something vast.

A portfolio is the same. It is not a pile of clever decisions made on good days and forgotten on bad ones. Left alone, it frays. Woven together, and held, it becomes something that lasts.

The Sutradhar — literally the thread-holder — is the one who knows which strand goes where, when to hold, and when to move. That is the role we have taken. Not to sell. To weave, and to stay.

Sutra was founded in Bengaluru with one conviction: that most people do not need more financial products — they need one person who will stay with them long enough to understand what they are actually building toward.

The name on the ARN is a commitment. Every fund woven into your portfolio is there because it belongs — because it lends something the others do not have. And once placed, it is watched. The thread is never set down.

The business model reflects this: trail commission means we earn more only as your wealth grows. There is nothing to churn, nothing to push. The incentive and the interest point in exactly the same direction.
